The Off-Screen Uniform

The hours that aren't on a screen.

Three pieces, cut from Giza cotton and linen, made in Jaipur. Quiet enough to disappear into a workday — considered enough to notice years later.

Three garments, cut from the same idea — that quality is felt before it's seen, and a good shirt shouldn't need a logo to prove itself.

The Founding Capsule

Why Only Three?

A considered capsule, not a catalogue.

Most new brands launch wide and thin — a hundred products, none of them quite right. We started with three, made properly: one shirt, one tee, one trouser, each engineered before it was multiplied.

Everything else can wait until these are exactly right.

Fabric Philosophy

The fabric comes first.

Everything else on a garment is a decision made after the cloth. So the cloth is where the money goes.

Giza cotton gives the shirt its hand — long staple, tightly spun, smooth without feeling synthetic. Linen opens the weave so air moves through it. Together they behave the way neither does alone: structured in the morning, still comfortable at nine at night.

Giza cottonLong-staple, for softness that survives washing
LinenBreathability, and a texture that improves with age
180 GSMWeight enough to drape, light enough for Indian heat

Designed for builders

Made for the people who make things.

Not for fashion. Not for an audience. For the engineer four hours into a problem, the founder between two meetings, the designer who hasn't looked up since morning.

These are clothes that ask nothing of you. No logo to explain, no fit to manage, nothing that needs thinking about once it's on. The work is loud enough.

Why Berry Byte

The parts you don't see are the ones that last.

01

Seams that don't give out

Every structural seam is folded and stitched twice, leaving no raw edge inside to fray. It costs more in labour, and it's the reason the garment survives year two.

Flat-felled construction
02

A shoulder that holds

A fine tape is sewn invisibly into the shoulder seam of the tee, so a heavyweight jersey keeps its line instead of sagging within a month.

Shoulder stay tape
03

Buttons with weight

Real mother-of-pearl, each attached over a thread shank so it sits proud of the placket and doesn't pull loose.

Mother-of-pearl
04

Nothing on the outside

No logo, no print, no visible tag. The only label sits inside the waistband. If the garment is good, it doesn't need announcing.

Zero outer branding
