Not stark white — warmed slightly, so it sits beside sandstone and charcoal without going cold. It is the colour that makes plain trousers look deliberate.

Material & make
Structure from the cotton, air from the linen.
Giza is long-staple cotton — fewer fibre ends per inch of yarn, which is why it feels smooth without a chemical finish and stays smooth after washing.
Linen is woven in at forty percent to open the cloth so heat can leave it. Together they do what neither does alone: hold a line in the morning, and still breathe by evening.
In the detail
A front with nothing on it.
The placket is concealed — the button line is folded away inside three plies of cloth, so the front of the shirt reads as one uninterrupted surface. Mother-of-pearl buttons sit behind it, each set over a thread shank so it stands proud rather than pulling flat.
