Material & make
The diagonal is doing the work.
Twill is woven on a diagonal rather than a straight grid. That is why it resists creasing, falls downward instead of standing away from the leg, and outlasts a plain weave of the same weight.
At 255 GSM it has real substance without heat. The three percent elastane is there for recovery rather than stretch — enough that the knee does not bag out by afternoon.

A waistband that keeps its shape.
Curtain-lined and clean-finished inside, so it holds a straight line around the body instead of rolling over after an hour at a desk. The hem is blind-stitched — no visible line at the ankle, and easy to shorten without leaving a mark.
