Giza cotton blended with linen — structured enough to hold a line through a morning, open enough to breathe until nine at night.
Technical specifications
Care
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, with like colours
- Mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener
- Line dry in shade — direct sun will fade the navy
- Warm iron on the reverse while slightly damp
- Linen creases. That is the fabric behaving correctly, not a fault

The Story
Built for the long afternoon, not the photograph.
This shirt started as a complaint. Cotton shirts hold a line but suffocate by two o'clock. Pure linen breathes but looks slept-in by eleven. Neither is built for a day that starts at a desk and ends somewhere else.
So it was made as a blend — enough Giza cotton to keep structure through the shoulders and placket, enough linen to open the weave and let heat leave. It is not the cheapest way to make a shirt. It is the only way to make this one.
Why you'll reach for it
The one that keeps getting worn.
It survives the afternoon
The open weave moves heat out instead of holding it against you. No damp back by three, no changing before dinner.
It reads as considered
A concealed placket removes the button line entirely. Nothing interrupts the front — which is why it works untucked or under a jacket without deciding in advance.
It asks nothing of you
No logo to explain, no styling required. Put it on, forget it, and let the day be the thing people notice.

Fabric & construction
Where the money actually went.
Giza is long-staple cotton — fewer fibre ends per inch of yarn, which is why it feels smooth without a synthetic finish and stays smooth after washing. Linen is woven in at 40% to open the cloth so air moves through it.
The construction is where the labour cost sits: every structural seam is folded and stitched twice, so there is no raw edge inside to fray. Buttons are real mother-of-pearl, each set over a thread shank so it stands proud of the placket instead of pulling flat.
